My 5 Fall Key Items

Fall is just my favorite season when it comes to dressing up.  I love specially early in the season when the trees are changing colors, the crispy weather starts rolling in but the sun is still shining in the sky. Not only it is beautiful outside, but everyone also starts dressing nicer on the streets. It’s the perfect time of the year to wear cozy sweaters and stylish accessories before it starts getting cold for real and we need a coat to cover it all! When it comes to me, one of the things I like most is how easy it is to pull off an effortlessly chic look.

Even if I don’t have a lot of time to dress up (which is most of the time) I know I can rely on 5 fall key items to  look polish. Keep scrolling to find out what I am talking about and shop my current favorites!

Cozy Sweater

I’m living in cozy sweaters these days! Most of them are neutral colors (as  everything else I own, LOL! )  but I like to vary on shapes and styles, such as cut-outs, oversized, cable knitted and turtlenecks. Whenever possible, I  like to invest in cashmere pieces like the one I’m wearing here or a good quality wool blend. I swear the investment is worth it as  your sweater will last more and more seasons to come! Important tip: always hand wash/ use delicate cycle and lay flat to dry, it will help maintain the shape.

 

Wool Hat

If you are following us for a while you probably know we love a good hat ( check here, here & here). I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t wear one too. Hats are chic, fit any occasion and outfit, are perfect for cold/rainy weather and bad hair days! Investing on a good classic hat is key, but you feel like being trendy, we are also loving baker boy hats this fall!

 

Booties

Boots are also a season essential. I know by Spring I won’t be standing them anymore, bot for now I’m so thrilled to wear my boots again! On my day-to-day I usually stick to ankle booties as they are practical and comfy, but I also love over the knee boots  or my recent favorite, the sock boots.

 

Black Jeans

The good pair of jeans comes handy this season, I don’t know about you, but I’m always wearing jeans during these colder months. I find that wearing black jeans are also a good variation of regular denim. Lately I’ve been wearing lots of straight cuts and mom jeans, but skinny jeans are always no brainers!

 

 

Accessories

In my opinion the final touch for a polish look is to accessorize it. I’m usually quite minimal on my outfits and accessories, but I recognized how a belt, watch, jewelry, scarf or even sunglasses  can improve the final result.
