Women’s Day doesn’t come bare-handed. Romanian women and not only them, can now rejoice in anticipation of the tribal prints and geometrical shapes brought by Marni, starting March 8th. This is the official date when the new H&M collaboration will be launched on TV, online and of course in stores.
Marni fans are also happy to be able to get some accessible high-street. I am convinced that this collaboration will surpass the Versace one, at least with regards to selling success.
The masterminds of this campaign have a golden ticket in order to pull this off because the amazing Sofia Coppola is directing the entire campaign. We have seen the great ad she did for Miss Dior Chérie, but I am still curious how she will interpret the entire ideology of the Italian brand in an optimal mix with the Swedish H&M.
Everything was filmed in Marrakech, this place is the perfect inspiration for the collection designed by Marni’s creative director and brand founder, Consuelo Castiglioni. So prepare for exotic and nomad, typical Moroccan influences and design.
